Forehead and Eyebrow Aesthetics
By aging, downward displacement occurs especially in the upper third of the face and thus eyebrows start to move through the above of upper eyelid. For this reason, it is not possible to evaluate the forehead, eyebrow, and upper eyelid separately.
An examination is important in order to understand the main problem of the patient.
The simplest eyebrow lift method is the botox application. Apart from this, suspension methods with simple stitching are also available. Although the effect is temporary, it is highly preferred in terms of application practicality.
The more permanent method is to free the entire eyebrow from bone tissues and suspend it on the upper non-moving tissues.
If there are aging symptoms on the forehead as well as eyebrows, endoscopic forehead lifting techniques can be applied. In this technique, it is entered through small incisions that are opened on the scalp by fine instruments with the help of a camera, and the whole forehead is liberalized and fixed on a higher point with strong fixation materials. Deep lines between two eyebrows can be permanently treated in this procedure.
The operation can be performed either with local or general anesthesia depending on the severity of intervention. Hospitalization is not required unless it is under general anesthesia.
It is important to inform your doctor if you have additional diseases, medications you use regularly, or bleeding problems.
